There are two TV events this week that will not be watched at Casa O’Be. Take a guess.

So the cheats from Boston “win” again and their MVP is a guy who wouldn’t even be playing if he was a cyclist (unless perhaps his last name was Froome)? But at least nobody took a knee I guess so Fat Nixon will be happy and invite them over for hamberders?

What a monument to consumerism. Buy this shit, no buy some more of that shit. Let’s sit and eat junk food and watch healthy young men trade their health and longevity for a big payoff now. When we get done with that, we can turn the channel and watch some boxing or MMA. All we need to get to gladiators is a few swords and nets and some bigger paydays.
I have to admit that while typing this rant, I’m wanting a big plate full of chicken wings. And don’t give me that baked crap, I’m talking deep fried and tossed in Tapatio or sticky sweet BBQ sauce like Bill Johnson’s Big Apple. Give me a big bowl of cole slaw and two Pilsner Urquels on the side and a shitload of napkins.

Interesting that this is an Atlantic article and (unless I missed it) they didn’t link to one of their most popular pages of all time:
