I’ve been known to do just about anything for money; this is the price of admission to not having an actual job.

One of the chores I enjoy the most is reviewing touring bicycles for Adventure Cyclist magazine, the member publication of the Adventure Cycling Association.

This takes me well outside my comfort zone, which is all about making stuff up. I’m forced to abandon fabrication for investigation, but I still have a high old time because hey, I’m riding bicycles and writing about ’em! Believe me, I’ve written about school boards, and I’ve written about bicycles, and bicycles are better, no matter what you’ve heard about comparisons being odious. Consult Mark Twain on the subject.

So, yeah. Here you’ll find some samples of my reviews and the short videos that go with them. Have fun with ’em. You’d better believe I am.
