THIS is the key point from that piece to me – I’ve said this before and here it is again, the TEA Party is little more than a cleaner version of the KKK. Uncle Mitty inserts enough key phrases into his rhetoric to act as the dog whistle – his fat-cat business backers don’t here it while the masses who’ll act against their own self-interest and vote for him hear it loud and clear. What this means to me is I’m going to have to cough up more dough than I’d like to Obama’s campaign to counteract the bazillions of greenbacks the 1% will pour in once Romney’s secured the nomination. Will the 99% THINK before they vote in November? I hope so.

Face it, our country is on the ropes big time now. We can still fight back to win but we’ve taken a bad bruising. We got lazy and made stupid mistakes by hiring Nixon (not once but twice!) and it’s been downhill ever since.
Truly, I despair for our country and believe we are living at a time similar to pre-WWII Germany. Eventually there will be hell to pay if we can’t figure a way out of this quickly.
