  1. It’s a good one, Patrick. Glad you posted the wiki link. I wasn’t hallucinating Matt Dillon’s participation.
Makes me think about meeting native Irish, an Irish bar in NYC and hanging out with my half-Irish friend in 1980’s Manhattan. The boozy exchange in the song lyrics and video reminds me of the parents of “Hannah and Her Sisters” (1986) from the same time period. Retired actors, portrayed by Maureen O’Sullivan and Lloyd Nolan, she’s a drunk and a flirt and he’s angry.
Earlier tonight , I was absorbed in a ’60s flashback on our local PBS station. They aired a Ray Conniff Choir Christmas Show. Grew up hearing it on the radio and requesting the album for Christmas fifty years ago! Yikes. I love these musical gifts. Thank you, Patrick!
Love and Peace to all this holiday season!
