    1. And it just ain’t a solstice without you-know-who …

      More Light

(Tempting fate posting this … the Network has been quite aggressive taking down NX clips as fast as they get posted. So, shhhhhhh, gotta keep it on the downlow.)

      1. Completely unconfirmed rumor, but heard the reason you can’t stream NX is that the soundtrack was too good. Each episode had 5-6 carefully selected songs, usually just a few bars to set a tone but occasionally a full chorus and refrain. So the licensing fees outweigh what they can make renting it out to Netflix. Apparently Ed, the comedy about the lawyer who worked out of a bowling alley, is in the same boat.

      2. We have all six seasons on DVD. That’s one we should maybe binge-watch again. We’re in the last season of “Breaking Bad” right now.

I loved it when Barry Corbin (Maurice) popped up as an irascible property owner in “Better Call Saul.” He still has it goin’ on.

        1. I forget but I think I still have some episodes of Northern Exposure on a VHS tape. I think the commercials are still in there as well. (Remember when you had to press stop and play when you were taping to cut out the commercials?). I even have an old VHS tape player around. (Every day it’s increasing in price! Within a few years it be worth as much as a boat anchor).

    2. Yeah, that should be cool. We might have to move around a bit in the ’hood to catch that one; we have some pretty strong architectural interference to the SSW. These people and their second stories. Sheesh.

    1. Could be military traffic here. The Sunport is supposed to be a ghost town. With civilian flights in the dumper maybe they’ll finally have the time to get all their construction projects finished.
