¿Dónde está la cabina telefónica?

Super Spaniard looked very much like Clark Kentador on today’s stage. No wonder you never see those guys in the same place at the same time. Aw, Craptonite!

Meanwhile, props to Thomas Voeckler for a gutsy ride in defense of the yellow jersey. And who doesn’t want to be Jens Voigt when he grows up?

  1. Jens Rocks, I saw an post stage interview with the Director from Leopard who said he had been worried when two of the guys on the team they had expected to be there had been dropped before the Tourmalet, then Jens radioed in to say (I am paraphrasing here) “I got this” and proceeded to lead up the entire HC climb….. words can’t describe the studliness of this guy. Wow.

  2. ….If you look very closely just before the summit of the Tourmalet you can just make out Jens mouthing the words…. “Shut up Legs!”

  3. Jesus wept.

Alberto Clenbutador definitely got dropped at the top. But its early in the mountains, right? At least that is what some of the talking heads say.

Stay tuned for the next edition of “Will Alberto beat his tainted meat, or, Good Lux to the Schlecks”.
