As far as venison, when I found it tough to line up the gun sights on deer, I swore off other meat too. As in Animal Farm: are some animals more equal than others?
But when I see those racks, I still get a bad case of Mental Crosshairs.

Up in Weirdcliffe the mule deer were so damn’ dumb you could hunt ’em with a Twinkie and a ball-peen hammer without leaving your deck.
Same in Los Alamos. They would stroll down our street en masse and look at me like “wadda you doing here?”

If you could insinuate that those were Mexican deer, you have a chance of some DHS “bucks” to add height to your wall.

In our final week in Iowa 🙂 I saw a young buck with a pretty good rack on him wander across our backyard for the first time in awhile. We’ve had plenty of does and fawns plus wild turkeys over the years but it was rare to see a rack of antlers going past the kitchen window.
Well, Bush 41 died – possibly the last decent Republican president that I expect to occupy the white house in my lifetime. I didn’t agree with his policies, but in retrospect he seems like a liberal.
WTF happened to that party?
Dirty money. And plenty of it.
