We got a drive-by from Thor this morning. A whopping 0.01 inch of rain.
Happily, we were spared from drowning by the hurricane-force winds that accompanied this biblical deluge. Good thing I got my run in yesterday. It’s tough to jog the trails in swim fins.
I suppose I could ride my Peloton “bike” today, but (a) I don’t have one, and (2) while I expect I could get a deep discount on one right about now, just like that, I’ll pass.

You would have to tie me to a stationary bicycle, even a fancypants one like a Peloton. I think I would prefer being waterboarded.
They’re handy if you’ve broken something. An ankle, or a collarbone. But even if the weather is absolutely filthy I’d rather be outside, or just take the day off.
True, I used a wind trainer clamped to a bike back in 1990 when I broke a collarbone. But only until I could get back on the road. Not for just as an exercise in conspicuous consumption.
We got the same down. Wind? Si. Cold? Si. Rain? A trace.
I”m waiting for Pelton to offer electronic shifting instead of the Schwinn era dial-a-load.
Oh and a “Smart Cockpit”
