Monday is trash day here in the cul-de-sac.
Stalking around El Rancho Pendejo, muttering to myself as I ticked off the morning chores one by one, I got to thinking how nice it would be if somebody came around regularly to haul off all the garbage stinking up my skull.
Wouldn’t that be convenient? Just flip my lid, yank out the sack full of bad news, worse ideas, outdated references, and pointless distractions, heave it into a black plastic cart, and roll it down the driveway where someone else has to deal with it.
Hm. Wait a sec. We’ve already got something like that. They call it “blogging.”

I’m a willing consumer of the brain dumps you provide for free. I will even sort out the diamonds from the dung.
It’s an honor to have ravens of such quality picking over my little landfill here, gents.
POG-bloggery is what it is and sorely needed I say. Sometimes after the second round of JP Wiser’s I get to wondering what it would have been like if you had been inserted into the writer’s group at SNL a few years back. I’d bet some legendary skits would have been made.
Yea, what Herb Said!
I actually woke up in a good mood without too much brain garbage bothering me. Nothing like a 30-21 win over the Chiefs to put everything else on back burner.
Ah Khal imagine how we are groovin in Motown now that the Lions have gone from America’s punchline to a feared bully in the NFC. Sort of counter balances the constant media barrage spelling the death throes of Stellantis (Jeep etc.) And on top of all that, Lightning Rod Stewart is coming next summer to perform. Don’t think I’ll be there watching an 80 year old guy strut around but maybe he’s morphing into Tony Bennett? POG claims he personally has a “face for radio” but Stewart has a voice for hog calling at a county fair. He actually did play a county fair here many moons ago and after a few songs we looked at each other and said WTF? Little did we know he’d make a serious career out of that voice and rooster hair.
Lions really handed the Jaguars a King Size can of Whupass yesterday. Wow.
Or, you could go see Samara Joy at the Fisher Theater on December 19th!
Great voice POB. I’ll be listening to more of her today. Definitely 180 degrees from Lightning Rod!!
She was at the Fox theater in Tucson last month, but we couldn’t make it. Dammit. Her and Pasquale, plus a drummer working those brushes unseen, sure can get smooth!
