Happy Juneteenth, June 19th, 1865, back atcha buddy. That’s only 160 years or about three generations ago when it was legal to own another person. And, we seem to have trouble as a nation admitting it. We have made much progress, but we ain’t done yet by a long shot.
I had considered riding down to Galveston to give them the news that a tangerine faced real estate broker out of New York had actually won the election, but I thought that the spirit of the day didn’t deserve the bad news. Besides, Texas isn’t some place that I’ll being riding a bike to, or in anytime soon.
And on July 1st we get the Idaho Stop law in New Mexico.
