Lance Armstrong still in the hot seat

Moondial
And the winner is ... whoops, wait, Travis Tygart has yet to finish.

After timing Jeff Novitsky with both a sundial and a moondial he was declared a DNF in the Dave Clark Five Memorial Individual Time Trial. Only one competitor remains on course.

    1. Anytime I think conservative-induced paranoia is bad here in the Great White North, I just have to surf the news from the Excited States of America to feel better. For a little while. Sort of.

  1. It would seem now that he’s beaten the rap in the criminal investigation, BigTex faces only the equivalent of the civil suit – the USADA investigation. Those positive EPO samples Tex claims were tampered with would seem to be a problem as he’s already admitted there were indeed his samples. Add in all the former teammates who’ve claimed he doped in their presence and it would seem there’s a pretty good case there for sanctions for breaking the rules of cycling even if Tex stays out of the crossbar hotel. I suspect he won’t be firing all of his legal team and just go back to being a self-proclaimed national hero – he’s gotta still be feeling some warmth from that hot seat.

  2. …i’m glad that at 62 years old / young or whatever the fuck i am, i still really love riding bicycles because the sport of professional bicycle racing which i also once really loved to watch / read about & support is fast becoming something that i sneer at rather than embrace…

…i’ve always seen great beauty in the sport…now, not so much…

…the decision on contador may have me leaping for joy or jumping of the band wagen…
