RomneyBot’s Mendacity Engine working overtime

There is nothing about which Mitt Romney will not lie. Not even the murder of a U.S. ambassador and the current president’s response to the crime.

Kevin Drum has the nuts and bolts of it (heavy on the nuts). Read it and weep, because this asshole could be the next resident of the Oval Office if we’re not careful.

Consider the firestorm of outrage had it been a Democratic candidate who had the effrontery to cobble together this shameless political attack out of whole cloth after four of our ambassadors were killed while serving the nation abroad. Home Depot would sell out of pitchforks, torches and rope before Denny’s served its first Grand Slam of the morning.

and yet the rapid followers are already on the band wagon, propagating the no-condemnation as further proof of his lack of patriotism. The lie only needs to be told enough times to be perceived as the truth.

I commented before, the 1% has got NUTHIN’ to offer anyone except the plutocrats, so their strategy can only be the BIG LIE theory. Polls are starting to show it’s not working, but all we can do is wait and see after we leave the polling place.

    What Larry said.

I do not know how this election will turn out in November (I am a’ hopin’ for Obama), but this latest whopper by the Rombot campaign shows to me just how freaking bad some people are at running campaigns. My Donkeycrats lost closely in 2000 and handily in 2004 with guys that were just not any good at running for elections. With Obama, we have a guy who knows how to win and knows how to surround himself with competent people. In 2008, he ran against a lackluster campaign, and this year, he might likewise be blessed.

Dale in Missouri (which makes Iowa look, by comparison, like a state of great reason and superior intelligence, Larry!)

    The crazies are taking over.

That’s the problem with people who were born on third base but have convinced themselves that they hit a triple.

Got a serious sense of entitlement.

And just doesn’t understand why most of us aren’t as impressed with him as he is in himself
