Froggy the Gremlin and the Siamese Toadstools seem less than concerned.

I, however, believe in the Boogieman (aka Bogeyman, Boogeyman, Bogieman) which as we all appreciate was a “common allusion to a mythical creature in many cultures used by adults to frighten children into good behavior”.

And speaking of childhood, the leaves on the grass reminded me of listening to Roger Williams play “Autumn Leaves” when I was a whippersnapper some 60 years ago.

And then there’s “A Summer Song,” by Chad and Jeremy. I think I was around 10 when it was first released.

      • Pat O'Brien Says:

Nice. Chad Stuart plays a Rainsong guitar. If you look carefully at the video you can see the weave pattern of the carbon in his guitar, the one on the left. They are completely made from carbon fiber composites. Great for climates with large humidity changes or for traveling.

A “Giving Tree” vibe for me. The green grass pushes it in that direction.

  3. Pat O'Brien Says:

I believe in the power of the boogie, man.

    EW&F plus Intouchables.

  4. Ira Says:

Don’t know if any of you are Hip fans, but Canada is currently a nation in mourning

    • Patrick O'Grady Says:

I knew of them, Ira, but can’t say I’m familiar with their music. As I recall, KRCC-FM in Bibleburg used to play the Hip from time to time, but KUNM isn’t as progressive as Radio Colorado College.

My condolences to the Great White North.

While we are on the subject.

  6. Patrick O'Grady Says:

And leave us not forget. …

  7. Pat O'Brien Says:

Damn that boogieman anyway. I finally reached the bottom of the internet boogie rabbit hole.
