A working-class hero is something to be

The economy is rocking, they say — but for whom?

“It’s a bit of a puzzle,” says Fed Chairman Jerome H. Powell. Do tell.

Well, Ivanka made $3.5 mil last year off her share of the hotel in the old post office in DC owned by us. You know, the one where all the foreign diplomats stay.

Yeah, but we’re all efff’in peasants.

By the way, it’s a three-chord song on the guitar.

I’ve been meaning to thank you for the gee-tar advice, Paddy me boyo. While you were in the vicinity I should’ve shown you the used Seagull Entourage Mini Jumbo I picked up for a song (har) at Guitar Center. Handmade by skilled Québécois in Canada, eh. Came with a hard case and ever’thang.

Since acquiring it I’ve been revisiting my country-hippie days, trying to learn some John Prine, Jerry Jeff Walker, Gram Parsons and whatnot. This has proven a fine alternative to the flute and tin whistle for scaring the cats.

Very nice! Next time I come up, I will bring along “Smooth” the Ovation. We can run the whole neighborhood out of town. Or, at least get them to open the bar early.

I’m still waiting for someone to ask “Snarling Disdain” or one of the other Orange Hitler spokespuppets (or maybe Don the Con himself?) about those employment numbers. When he was running for prez he claimed the 5-6% (or whatever they were at the time) unemployment rates were wildly low, that the real numbers were in the stratosphere. You know, the “fake news” kind of crap. But now that HE is the prez the numbers are dead-on accurate? How is that possible?
