There’s just a hint of yellow here and there along the Paseo del Bosque trail. More to come, I expect.
There’s a hint of color down to the bosque — not much, just a smidge, but it’s there.
Lots of folks out yesterday, on all manner of machinery, from tri-bikes to e-bikes to them stodgy old steel boys you can hang the luggage on.
I liked it so much I went back there today. Forty-five miles yesterday, but only 33 today (different routes).
Beats the hell out of keeping up with the news. Can you imagine the shitstorm if Obama … aw, who am I kidding? Of course you can.

Aspen are just starting to change colors WAY UP HIGH in the mountains here in Colorado. Peak foliage expected later than “normal” this year; but most likely in about 3-4 weeks.
Time to ride, eh?
PO’G: 45 + 33 = 78 miles in 2 days? You prepping for the 2020 Olympics? 🙂

You know me, JD: Anything to avoid honest labor.
Especially since I don’t have any. Shipped a BRAIN cartoon yesterday and I’m fresh out of review bikes for Adventure Cyclist. The October-November issue just hit the mailbox here, and that’s the last with anything from Your Humble Narrator for a spell.
Also, and too, with Herself in Maryland for a high-school reunion, I suddenly seem to have a good deal of free time. She can still issue the daily orders, but I can safely ignore them, since her arm isn’t long enough to crack me on the noggin with her wedding ring from there.
I have a hunnerd miles on the bike and one run in so far this week. You can’t stop me!

The yellow is a line divider on the road! Yes, any bike ride beats the news! In Phoenix today, still mid 90’s.

Well, you Phoenix folks had 29 days, so far this year, with high temps over 110 degrees. And on Friday, the same day as the global climate change demonstrations and strikes, the U of A football coach is flying around Phoenix in a damn helicopter scouting high school football games. So much for our climate priorities in Arizona.
I will ride the Bosque trail again someday.
