The Conti’s were hung by the chimney with care.
In hopes that the Fat Man would fill them with air
Here’s to better days ahead for all.

The Schwalbes were hung by the chimney with care
With Marathon on the sides, they needed no air
Goatheads can’t touch them, glass shards needn’t bother
They are tougher than Bad Leroy Brown’s mother

Happy Solstice and Saturnalia, and a Merry Boxing Day Eve! Hope everyone finds a stocking full of White Lightning, spare tubes, clif bars, and sun screen, and that there’s a warm kitchen full of vittles at the end of every ride.
Here’s to a 2022 that reboots our national operating system.

Hey! I did get a pair of Contys. Although I didn’t hang them by the chimney – They were packaged in a box under the tree. What a nice Santa I was.
I hope all of you schmucks had a Very Wonderful Christmas and are full and burping by this time. I’m out West here so the holiday feed is still in the oven.
Cheers and safe visits to all.
