Background: May 1 was chosen as the date for International Worker’s Day to commemorate the Haymarket Riot in Chicago in 1886. The Haymarket Riot, which was a violent confrontation between police and labour protesters, soon became a symbol of workers’ rights across the world.

That’s a good’un, a’ight. There are versions you wouldn’t want to sing for the kiddies.

Ahh, International Worker’s Day. Reminds me of when I worked and that retirement pensions should be credited to the blue collar folks who often gave their lives to make ours better. I went over the hood of a pickup truck once as a picket line captain, but no one ever shot at me.
Other than dat, May day indeed, as the pilots say. Got back to the house wondering where all the oil came from. Fork seals on my 2005 Stumpy FSR (Rock Shox Talas RL) blew out. Its at the Broken Spoke, hoping repair parts still exist. I left an email at BTI and with Bruce.
Shit, if you can get parts for 2005 car, why not for a 2005 bicycle?

Oof. Good luck with that fork, Hoss. My RockShox Judy SL, a Hippie Tech rebuild, was a goner after it sprung a leak. No parts available atall atall. The old DBR Axis TT sports a rigid front end now. If you need to go rigid Soma-Merry Sales has a variety of options.
Tires are gonna be a bitch to find too. I may have to think about a 650b conversion.

Thanks, Boss. I emailed the folks at BTI this morning to see if they have any suggestions. In the meanwhile, Broken Spoke ponders the question and I scratched my head and dropped the pressure in the 700-40 Xplor MSO’s on the Salsa LaCruz to 30 psi and may try that. I may need some help finding my fillings…

And next time someone tells you that they got rich through hard work, ask them, “Whose?”

Sir, I’ll have you know that I pulled myself up by my (parents’) bootstraps.
