    1. Happy happy joy joy to Sandy! May she have many more.

The 1491s, who put this video together, are a Native American sketch comedy outfit whose members — Sterlin Harjo, Dallas Goldtooth, Migizi Pensoneau, Bobby Wilson, and Ryan RedCorn — were among the Indigenous people behind the Hulu TV series “Reservation Dogs,” which is well worth your time.

Herself and I watched all three seasons until the series came to an end, then binge-watched them all over again, three episodes a night, bing bang boom.

Goldtooth was particularly good as William Knifeman, a spirit who pops up periodically to lay a little wisdom on young Bear, one of the teens featured in the series.

  1. The 1941’s huh? I guess they formed just after the 449th anniversary of the crash landing of Columbus somewhere out in the West Indies. Right?

I could do without Ryan Red Corn jumping around but I thought the clip for Reservation Dogs was great. When time and enough late night hours allow, I’ll have to spend some brain power watching it.
