His downfall was orchestrated by the dumpster, just like the election of the new, more loyal squeaker we now have. They are setting up the house to do dumpster’s bidding should he be president again. Dumpster is mentally ill, his only defense for his crimes at this point, but he ain’t stupid.

I know a couple lifelong Republicans whose minds are boggled at the poll numbers. They don’t know anybody who supports Agent Orange.

Lifelong democrats and republicans are the problem. There are times when you have to vote for the country and not party. If Biden was running against Cheney, I’m not sure which way I would go. Chevy vs Harris would be easier for me.
“Chevy” = Cheney I presume? It sounds as though your confidence is more on Liz than Kamala. Would this be correct? If so, what characteristics do you think Liz has that are better than what Kamala has to offer? Or if my presumption is incorrect, what characteristics of Kamala’s do you think are better than Liz’s. Note that I’m using their first names because I don’t wish to confuse the issue with the other Cheney.
I replied Shawn, but it hasn’t appeared. Anywho, Liz vs Kamala would be interesting, but I would go with Kamala. But, Liz vs Joe might be a tougher choice for me. One thing is for sure, if dumpster wins, the country loses, maybe for 12 years?

In related news, I’m working toward shifting the blog over to a new theme and the Block Editor (curse its name, yes). As I’ve noted before, this old WordPress theme of mine is retired and no longer supported, and these little hiccups seem to be occurring more frequently. I’ll post something about my experiments and conclusions here directly.
Hey Shawn. Cheney, I probably misspelled it, became Chevy with auto- correct on the laptop. Darth Cheney is out of the political picture, I hope forever. But, I might pick Liz over Biden because he is simply too old, and he knows it. At least she respects the oath of office and the rule of law. I really like Harris, and her and I agree on most important issues, but I am not sure she is electable. If it was Harris vs Cheney, I would go with Harris, Either way, having a woman in charge would be a welcome change. I vote using the same criteria as I used when hiring people. I consider education, experience, training, references, past accomplishments , and personal interview. Of course, I have to use their public statements, and position on key issues in lieu of the interview. I develop a matrix with weighted scores for each area and pick a winner. I have occasionally voted a split ticket, but not since Obama left office. I fear 2024 will be Biden/Trump again which leaves me no real choice at all.
