I had me some Good Vibrations while out riding yesterday. The sidewall on one of my tires had started to fail. It’s Good because it didn’t blow out on my way home.
The cool thing is that we still have his music. I bet he can appreciate that.
The best vibration is making it home unscathed.
And yes, the man left us some tasty breadcrumbs to follow.
Was always puzzled as to why Pet Sounds was so revered. Even bought it and after several spins still didn’t agree. Into the archives it went. But one day, I had on some serious noise-cancelling, over the ear headphones and tried the digital mastered CD version. NOW I totally get it.
Dude was out there, for reals. I loved that the Beatles were listening and going all like,, “Fook, lads, we’ve got to do us somma that!”
