Meet Henri, whose “Paw de Deux” won the Golden Kitty at the inaugural International Cat Video Film Festival in Minneapolis. Henri also has a book of “philosophical musings” to be published by Random House come fall, says Kathleen Geier at The Washington Monthly. And yet I feel nothing. …

Magnificat!!!! That’s one fine feline.
Henri must meet Choupette, a fluffy white cat that is the newest muse of Karl Lagerfeld. She has her own iPad and Twitter account. Perhaps she can shake Henri’s ennui.
If Henri travels to Colorado, I’m sure you’ll put out the welcome mat for him and watch the fur fly with your two stars who haven’t appeared in videos in dog’s years. Cheezburger cheezburger.
That was a giggle, eh, Libby? I fear the cats will one day rule the world, assuming they don’t already.
I need to do some fresh video of Turkish and Mia, for sure. But I really need to shoot some footage of Mister Boo, who (being catlike himself) has two to three brief periods of serious physical activity each day.
These include the Indy 500 Around the Lawn (performed upon Herself’s return from work); Fetch the Chewy (performed after meals); and the Spazzing Out for No Good Reason That We Can Think of (performed at random).
No words of mine can do justice to these athletic endeavors. They must be seen to be believed.
K, you’re welcome. I don’t ordinarily pass such things around (the relentless repetition of useless information being one reason I abandoned Facebook), but I got a snicker out of it and figured what the hell.
I’d like to spend more time fiddling with video, but can’t quite find a way to slot it into all the other things I’m supposed to be doing.

I never signed up for Facebook. As cycling legend John Allen recently reminded us, to Facebook, we are the targets, not the beneficiaries.
