Remember the good old days, when there were commies under your bed?

Now it’s just cats. And they’re both under it and on top of it.

Mia goes to the mattresses. Well, to be specfic, under same.

Field Marshal Turkish von Turkenstein (commander, 1st Feline Home Defense Regiment) generally pitches his command tent atop the bed, where he can enjoy a panoramic view of the inside of his eyelids.

For purposes of security, his adjutant and aide-de-camp Miss Mia Sopaipilla favors a (mostly) undisclosed location.

I’ve wondered more than once whether they’re solar-powered. If so, their batteries should be topped off nicely.

    1. Hah. No gangster flicks, though I love me some “Godfather,” along with the classics (Bogart, Edward G., etc.).

We actually watched “Doctor Strange,” which was a disappointment. I have a weakness for comic books, the scourge of my youth, and thought Marvel might vary its template a little bit for this one. Nope. Not even Benebatch Cumberdict could save this one.

Now “Arrival” we liked. Watched that one not long ago and it was a welcome change from the usual bug-eyed-monster stuff.

      1. We skipped “Dr. Strange” and watched “Arrival” this afternoon. We are still thinking about it. One problem I had the lighting was probably meant for a dark theater. If you watch it in a room with even a little light, you struggle to see what is going on. Other than that, I need to sleep on it.
