I won’t be riding it. But, it was a great time in 2019 riding with Patrick, Khal and my nephew Andy! There is even a road named after our host. I highly recommend it! It was well organized and run. The SAG stops, course marking, and on course support were great, Who doesn’t like cow bells at the end of a long ride? And the October weather should be fine! So, if you ever thought about it, it’s time to go for it.
I think I’ll give it a miss as well. It was big fun to do the ride again after a long absence, but I’m deeply suspicious of large groups of bicyclists. I’ve noticed a disturbing decline of mad skillz and etiquette over the years.
Besides, aren’t we due for another pandemic* right around then?
* Just kidding. Jeez, youse guys are so sensitive.
Ah, yes! Happy May Day, Comrade O’Grady! As bicyclists, we have nothing to drop but our chains!
Going back to the original tongue.
And it looks like we will have a Santa Fe Century this year. Any takers?
