Bit by bit, mostly in the shadows, they are removing the protections of a constitution that relies on good people in elected office. The founding fathers never anticipated this current crop of miscreants and sociopaths.
Now republicans are chipping away at voting rights by demanding new citizenship proof, documents such as birth certificates or passports, to register to vote. Bit by bit they are moving to autocracy or worse.
