Huh. All those hours wasted marching in the streets, trying to end war, poverty and injustice. Turns out all we had to do to get the government’s attention was stand in line at the airport for a bit. Who knew?
• Editor’s note: In all fairness, it could simply be that their babies wrote them a letter.

Airport controllers or meat inspectors. Can’t live without them, right?
You can live without the former as long as you keep your dogs on terra firma. The latter would worry me.
// He supported Harry Reid’s proposal to pay for the $85 billion in sequester cuts (through September) with savings from winding down the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. //
Anyone think that money really exists? We’ve been fighting those wars on borrowed money. Spending less there only means we’re borrowing a little less.
We truly live in comical times. Or farcical. Or is it tragical? I get them all mixed up.
Maybe we can put a tip jar at the front desk of the W Lie-berry to make a small dent in this shortfall.
Love the Stevie Ray, OG. Too bad he left us too early. Not many could keep up to his licks, maybe Kenny Wayne Shepherd, who was probably his best understudy. The Gubbermit up North here is trying it’s best to be Republic. In response to recent arrests connected with planning to sabotage a train, they’re in the middle of passing anti-terrorism legislation so they can lock up people without charging them. When it was suggested that maybe we put some effort into figuring out why people want to bomb us, the reply was “This is no time for a sociology course. We know why people want to do us harm, it’s because they’re evil.” Hard to come up with an intelligent argument to that logic.
Looks like congress wanted to make sure their flights were on time for this next recess. Self serving bastards!!
