He apparently wants everyone else to lose money the way he did.

If the idea is to encourage domestic manufacturing, well … good luck with that, hey? Can you imagine how long it would take to revive U.S. bicycle manufacturing? And how much a noob’s two-wheeler would cost? You’d have to ring up old Doc Frankenstein on that one, and he’d need a lot more than a lift and some lightning to bring that stiff back to life.
Even if you built the framesets here, I’m not sure Chris King, Paul Components, L.H. Thomson and Velocity can staff up fast enough to churn out all the parts.
This tool could fuck up a steel ball. And it ain’t easy to fuck up a steel ball. Next he’ll want to build a Wall around China. Whoops, too late.

Dysfunctional, corrupt, and incompetent is what he is. And anyone who doesn’t acknowledge that is either stupid, taking advantage of it, or both. Now that i have stated the obvious, I can only thank you for giving me the forum to preach to the choir.
On a positive note, I am riding to Bisbee tomorrow for my breakfast. I can earn my pancakes and flush out the brainpan at the same time. How’s that for multi-tasking?

Man, I hope I can ride somewhere tomorrow. It rained here all damn day. Folks were wearing their winter coats, I shit thee not. These Mays are brutal in the Great American West. Especially if you have to trade in your car on a bike and still owe money to the bike shop.
