‘The excitement is contagious. …’

Dr. Memory … paging Dr. Memory. …

I woke up singing, “Make the World Go Away.”

It wouldn’t, of course. The world is remarkably persistent. Always up in your grille with its pestilence, stock-market crashes, toilet-paper shortages, leadership vacuums, Darth Gimp boots, doctor’s appointments, and stupidity.

For, like the poor, ye have the stupid always with you.

Sometimes, a guy wants a little smart. And so, after a consultation with Dr. Memory, and in keeping with the general plague theme, we present for your listening enjoyment “Waiting for the Electrician or Someone Like Him” by The Firesign Theatre.

If only we had a generated, veneered leader. (Hear, hear!) Our own “Fighting Jack.” (Where, where?) But nope — all we have is a pestilence (There, there).

I apparently woke up screaming at 0230, startling the dog and annoying the wife. Or, vice versa. Or all of the above. I guess its all getting to me at the subconscious level. Ok, now with that admission, don’t one of you bad boys take out an ERPO on me. I’d hate to have to go and hide some stuff.

Laughter is the best medicine and Firesign is an excellent Rx. Thanks for the morning cheer, O’G! Now, on to house chores and more coffee.

Khal et al: Spot on about laughter! Thanks, PO’G!
Sooooooo……because we’re all in this together.
    1. Be mindful of your and others’ physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
    2. Be kind, generous, patient, and loving with/to one another.
    3. Be creative. A little personal inconvenience can inspire creativity and new experiences.
Hope that triggers some personal thinking as the uncertainties associated with Coronavirus unfold, multiply, and play with our minds, spirits, and emotions.
Maybe Oscar Wilde had it right? “Life is too important to be taken seriously.”
    Stay safe and healthy! 🙂
