An advertisement? A warning? Or just foreboding. I’ll guess I’ll have to stay tuned to find out.

Cute! Well, we did it. We’ve ended the drought in SoCal. I thought there was a good chance for this to happen but didn’t know how to cash-in on it. Started raining pretty good even before we got out here and it’s been raining steadily ever since. This is one of those SoCal rainstorms like I remember as a kid – you start to wonder if it will EVER stop? The fact that it doesn’t take much to flood things here adds to it. Now I’m hoping when it does finally stop, the roads won’t be too wet and full of mud to enjoy some cycling in the sun. Today it reminds me of Sicily between the flooding and power outages, though a real Southern Californicator would be aghast at the comparison.

Does Cinelli make a fatbike? Or a pontoon boat?
Meanwhile, here’s it’s 17 degrees as the sun sets (feels like 8). Freezing fog, freezing Dog … at least the Rooskies aren’t invading us, though the weather may be to their liking.

1/2 inch of rain in the gauge at this time, and more coming down. Predicted to be heavy on and off until 11PM. 175 gallons in the rain barrels. No complaints here.

One inch on the rain gauge this morning, and snow on the mountain tops, around 8000 feet and up. Got 300 gallons total in the rain barrels for the garden this spring. How about you Khal? Get a good soaking?
Looking forward to the Sutra review and video. Loved the ones on the Nobilette.

If it had stopped at the end of Camera 1, I’d have guessed found footage a la the Blair Witch Project.
“He went out for a loop around Palmer Park … but what he found out there … “

I couldn’t help myself. I was looking through some footage, saw that Evil sock step into view, and thought, “I’ve gotta do something with that.”
