Same here. Snot locker full. No riding. Duffy’s right hind leg has gone lame again He’s on rimadyl, and I’m on Aleve for a pulled back. Oh well, I think it is time for, what else, a Guiness.
Just friggin’ evil. I only left the house to let the dog out and take pix. Both the dog and I made horrible noises afterward, and god only knows what I’ve done to my camera. Blaugh.
A fine peachy day we had up here in the Gorge of the Pacific Northwest. Closing in on 70 degrees and only a modest ride-home direction breeze…. Nothing like the normal windsurfing heaven breezy days that would blow the spokes off your backyard wind-cruiser…… A fine day indeed….
Apparently there’s more on tap for tomorrow…., or should I say “today” to those of you in further-east time zones to thine.
Everything is improving here. Wind speed is down. Temperatures are also down. Pollen count is down. Chores associated with coming move are calling, so no riding today.
Wind? The trees weren’t blowing around that much…looks like an Iowa “breeze” to me! I must admit to being a total wimp when it comes to wind. I hate it. Gimmee a 10% switchback climb (as long as there’s a descent as reward) any day, but a real headwind turns me into a screaming baby. We get some breezes here in Sicily, but luckily most of ’em blow against us on the way inland, making the tailwind ride back to the coast (which is generally downhill anyway) much, much easier.
Tomorrow’s the first day of April – will someone announce that Donald Trump will soon be the Rethuglican nominee for president? Oh wait, that’s no joke!!! Well, I guess it is, but not that kind of joke.
Same here Larry. I would much rather climb than fight the wind. There is something about turning around during an out and back ride to discover you have to fight a strong head wind all the way home. It just turns the ride into the thing I hate, training.
Trump is a slow motion train wreck.

Shhh. Don’t let the UCI know about the motor you’ve got hidden in there.
Nasty day up here. I let the Bavarian Motor Werks do the effort for me today.

Cheers, good riding and less allergy sniffling !
